The Clinical Specialist role is a key associate at Hope Network whose primary responsibilities include: BLT support, behavior technician scheduling, new technician training, provide technician coverage when needed, support Clinical Director and Business Operations Manager with day to day personnel management and adherence to procedures. Provide site orientation, ongoing training and supervision for Behavior Technicians.

1. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position.
\n\n
2. Administrative
\n\n
a. Adhere to all BACB, PCP and agency requirements for behavioral programming and management.
\n\n
b. Complete Service Activity Logs (SALs) and progress notes within 48 hours of contact with a client, when appropriate.
\n\n
c. Train and supervise new ABA/ Behavioral Technician through orientation (crash coursing)
\n\n
d. Manage time and attendance, payroll, policy infractions for technicians in support of Hope Network Administrative Teams and CFA Leadership Team.
\n\n
e. Support scheduler in review and make adjustments to maximize schedules and coverage situations
\n\n
3. Clinical
\n\n
a. Provide t one-on-one therapy to support staff shortage.
\n\n
b. Assist BCBA by conducting assessments related to the needs of behavioral interventions (stimulus preference assessments, functional assessments, staff performance assessments)
\n\n
c. Conduct assessments (VB-MAPP, PEAK, AFLS, Vineland).
\n\n
d. Provide staff and caregiver training as qualified ie: Safety Care
\n\n
e. Write reports and complete documentation in timely manner to support assessment and
\n\n
f. Assist with implementation of an assigned learner’s deceleration plan, as needed.
\n\n
g. Design, implement, and systematically monitor skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs under supervision of a BCBA.
\n\n
h. Assist BCBA by researching the literature related to specific learners programs.
\n\n
i. Oversee the implementation of behavior analytic programs by others.
\n\n
j. Adhere to ethical standards of HIPPA and BCBA code of ethics.
\n\n
k. Conduct naturalistic observation of learners as directed by a BCBA
\n\n
l. Other duties as assigned.
\n\n

Educational / Talent Requirements:
\n \n\n \n
1. Bachelor degree from an accredited university in any discipline and enrolled in a master’s degree program that is recognized by the BACB.
\n \n2. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
\n \n3. Criminal background, and Central Registry Clearance must be acceptable per Centers for Autism contracts, policies, and standards.
\n \n\n \n
Work Experience Requirements:
\n \n\n \n
1. One (1) years prior employment experience in behavioral analytics and programming experience.
\n \n2. Prior experience providing treatment to children and adults with autism as behavior technician.
\n \n3. Clinical experience in clinic and home based ABA programming.
