Job Description

AIM or MISSION: The aim of the Controller is to accurately record, maintain and categorize financial information to produce historical and forward-looking financial statements that facilitate business decision making/reporting requirements.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/EXPECTATIONS OF THE CONTROLLER:

• The Controller will oversee the accounting process and staff
• The Controller will be very involved in preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• The Controller will establish, maintain and enforce systems of accounting and internal control procedures to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy of financial records
• The Controller will manage, review and approve employees work schedules, timecards, and time-off requests
• The Controller will ensure accurate and timely accounts payable administration
• The Controller will maintain updated and accurate supporting schedules (e.g. Asset lists, depreciation/amortization, inventory, etc.)
• The Controller will review G/L reconciliations, A/P and journals for accuracy
• The Controller will ensure accurate and timely billing/invoicing & collection of accounts receivable.
• The Controller will coordinate annual audits/reviews (Financial and 401k)
• The Controller will be responsible for accurate administration of 401k
• The Controller will continuously seek waste reduction opportunities, reduce administrative burdens and improve processes.

EDUCATION & OTHER KSA's

Bachelor's Degree (MAcc preferred)

7+ Years experience
