- Meet with the customer to understand the security needs and develop requirements and test plans.
- Identify candidate technologies and evaluate them against the defined requirements. Become an expert on the system and be able to communicate how the system enables the solution and where it's limitations lie.
- Work with internal teams to assess and resolve all privacy, network security, and scalability concerns for the systems.
- Write high quality documentation for system standards and operations. Work hand in hand with installation and administration teams to field the solutions.
- Continually re-evaluate the systems to ensure they are still effective and actively assess how new technology developments or changes in the environment may require new solutions.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on IT engineering needs and requirements for system performance, installations, and sustainment programs and provide recommended improvements per industry best practices
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Bachelor
- Certifications: CISSP, PMP, ITIL
- Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience
- Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI
- Location: Hybrid
- US Citizenship Required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD
The likely salary range for this position is $116,979 - $32,890. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
