Job Description
Job Qualifications :
· 2-6 years of experience in Epic.
· Certified in any Epic Module (Ambulatory, Professional Billing, Mychart, Cadence) is preferred
· Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred with a focus in healthcare, business, or information systems.
· Extensive knowledge of healthcare and expertise in EHR systems.
Job Responsibilities :
· Experience in conducting analysis and design of Epic application systems, which encompasses requirements gathering, specifications development, configuration, documentation, testing, and system implementation.
· Candidate is expected to be able to work with clinicians and staff to translate workflows to Epic functionality, identify gaps, provide mutually agreeable solutions to close workflow gaps
· Performs and documents workflow analysis while evaluating user experience.
· Creates and maintains documentation and training materials regarding the implementation of applications.
· Provide Epic build support for various applications like Professional Billing, Cadence, MyChart, Ambulatory.
· Experience in Epic optimization workflows typically focuses on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Epic systems within healthcare organizations.
· Creates and tracks tickets internally and with vendors
· Ensures support tickets are being worked in a timely manner in accordance with service level agreements (SLA)
· Knowledge of HIPAA and health care regulatory compliance.
