Job Summary: The remote Equity Administrator is responsible for the administration of all equity plans for the company, including, but not limited to stock option plans, restricted stock units, and other equity-based incentive programs. Develop a process to provide updates to Total Rewards leadership. Support implementation of Shareworks and then maintain oversight of the system and processes. Job Location: Remote work is not available in AK, MT, HI (US) Main Responsibilities:
- Administer share based plans, restricted stock units, and other equity-based incentive programs.
- Explain EOP plan to participants and guarantee the execution of the process agreed.
- Process employee transactions, such as exercises, cancellations, and forfeitures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Total Rewards, People Ops, Legal, Finance, and Payroll, to ensure seamless administration of these programs.
- Maintain and update equity plan records.
- Prepare reports and analyses on equity plan activity.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding equity-related inquiries. Educate employees on equity plan details and benefits.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Participate in the annual equity budgeting process.
- Support internal and external audits related to equity administration. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the integrity of equity data.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in equity plan administration in an international company based in US and Europe.
- Strong knowledge of share-based programs including tax and social security consequences in an international environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using an equity administration system.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of equity plan administration laws and regulations.
- Basic knowledge of payroll systems and processes and the ability to integrate payroll with the broader team
- A fast learner who can take on progressively increasing responsibility.
- Experience in Job Architecture and in other Compensation Processes is desirable.
