Job Description
The Junior Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for supporting the integrity and usage of our Database Systems and related Martech software. They will be involved with ensuring a clean database and promoting best practices. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and experience training users in a for-profit Salesforce org. In addition, this role requires strong communication skills and a desire to learn. Real Estate or B2C experience will be beneficial.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Support users including log-in, technical issues, enhanced functionality requests, and provisioning of new users with effective management of object and record-level access
Conduct discovery sessions, gather project requirements, and prepare project documentation
Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for users and data stewards in our database systems. Understand the responsibilities and processes for internal stakeholders to support UX improvements and training needs
Assist in training of new user onboarding and rollouts of new or updated features and tools
Create and maintain user-oriented training materials for Sales & Marketing database systems
Work with the Database Systems team to document change management within database systems
Perform testing and manage UAT testing for new and existing development projects
Maintain, design, and audit reports/dashboards
Assist with auditing and executing security and data integrity projects
Prepare and perform data uploads/exports
Develop declarative components in Salesforce to meet specified requirements
Develop and update content access to improve user experience and process needs.
Updates to page layouts and Lightning Pages for Desktop and Mobile
Coordinate with other team members on projects, providing timely updates.
Support the migration of legacy automation logic to a new unified automation tool, currently Flow, following best practices
Develop and maintain new automation logic following best practices
Travel as needed to support SSP business units.
Maintain confidentiality of all records across databases
Other duties related to Sales & Marketing Database Systems
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
College degree in sales, marketing, business systems or equivalent work experience
Salesforce Admin Certification 201 is required
One to two years of experience working in a similar position
Proficiency in administration of core Salesforce functions and Lightning UI, e.g. user management, roles and permissions, custom objects and fields, page layouts, custom fields, approval processes, Flow, etc.
Experience with Force.com and Custom Object Architecture preferable
Proficient in MS Office products to include Word, Outlook, and a strong proficiency with Excel including Pivot Tables, Data Sorting, Conditional Formatting and Advanced Formula Usage
Experience with Hubspot is preferable
Experience with Google Workspace is preferable
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Strong technical skills and mindset to leverage database and workflow-oriented software
REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this position, you will regularly be required to type and look at a computer screen for long periods of the day. You will need to be able to communicate effectively through all communication channels. Some travel (US) may be required. This position would be in-person for the first six months for onboarding and transition to a hybrid schedule with in-office days Monday and Wednesday. Remote work depends on a suitable environment and the ability to work effectively.
