The Planning and Economic Development Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of assigned federal, state, and local programs, grants, and contracts and ensures that all activities are carried out in a timely manner and in compliance with the appropriate administrative regulations. Other duties include: collecting and organizes data; writing and reviewing technical reports; maintaining records and files of grants and contracts; communicating with local governments regarding grants and contracts; consulting with other development agencies, business and government leaders, to initiate projects and programs to enhance the regional economy, and participates in national, state, and local economic and community development networks; and writing grant applications for LRCOG and member governments.
Job Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in planning, urban studies, public administration economics, business administration, or other related field with at least two years of related work experience. Must possess valid driver’s license.
Salary & Benefits
From $46,200 annually. Salary commensurate with experience.
