Title: Retail Business Applications Analyst

Location: Washington, D.C.
Salary: Competitive salary and benefits package based on qualifications; classified as full-time salaried; exempt and not eligible for overtime.
Reports to: Megan Shipps, Technology Program Manager

Travel : Occasional travel may be required

Position Overview 

Tuckernuck is looking for a high performer with a passion for the fashion industry and a growth mindset. As a Retail Business Applications Analyst at Tuckernuck, you'll have the unique opportunity to influence our business processes and technology landscape. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to analyze, document, and implement solutions that optimize our key business processes across Retail, eCommerce, and Operations. Your work will directly contribute to new store openings, eCommerce operations, business planning, product development, and procurement in a fun and fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities :

• Collaborate : Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
• Analyze : Evaluate current business processes to uncover areas for improvement.
• Solution : Work with Architects and Engineers in implementing new features and enhancements that align with our business goals and boost efficiency.
• Project Managemen t: Participate in project management activities, including planning, coordination, and execution of key technology initiatives.
• Document : Develop comprehensive documentation of business requirements, process flows, and test plans.
• Test and Validate : Perform testing and validation of new systems and enhancements to ensure they meet business needs.
• Train and Support : Provide training and support to end users, facilitating a smooth transition to new systems and processes.

Minimum Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the retail industry 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities  

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with business and technical teams.
• Experience with project management and documentation tools.
• Ability to grow and cultivate strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business.
• Be an active, detail-oriented, team player and believe that “no task is too small” for the benefit of the greater good.
