Job Description
- Full-time bachelor's degree or higher.
- Over 3 years of experience in warehouse-related positions, familiar with cross-border logistics (air freight, sea freight, international express, overseas warehousing, import/export trade) industry operation modes.
- Proficient in warehouse management, supply chain management, and related professional knowledge, skilled in planning management, logistics management tools and methods, and familiar with financial management knowledge.
- Good communication and coordination skills, with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Highly responsible, practical, and dedicated; willing to accept long-term work in different locations. Proficiency in English, French, or other European languages as working languages is preferred. 1. Warehouse Operations Management
- Ensure efficient daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Supervise the assignment and execution of tasks by warehouse staff, ensuring smooth and coordinated workflow.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with company regulations and standards, such as safety, quality, environmental, and health aspects.
2. Inventory Management
- Manage the inventory within the warehouse, including recording, updating, and maintaining the accuracy of inventory systems.
- Conduct inventory counts and promptly address any discrepancies or issues.
- Coordinate inventory allocation and transfers between customer procurement departments, suppliers, and customers.
3. Cross-Department Communication and Coordination
- Work closely with the logistics and transportation departments to coordinate the movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
- Track the transportation status of goods to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
- Address and resolve logistics issues such as delays, losses, and damages, and communicate and negotiate solutions with relevant parties.
4. Quality Control
- Ensure the quality and integrity of goods within the warehouse by implementing quality checks and control measures.
- Manage quality issues related to goods, such as returns, defective items, and claims, coordinating with relevant departments to resolve them.
5. Warehouse Facility and Equipment Management
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse facilities and equipment.
- Ensure warehouse facilities are safe and comply with relevant regulations.
- Propose updates and improvements to equipment to enhance warehouse operational efficiency.
6. Team Management and Development
- Lead and manage the warehouse team, including warehouse staff and relevant partners.
- Provide training and development plans to enhance the skills and professional quality of team members.
- Foster team collaboration and communication, maintaining a positive team environment.
