About Your Work

As an Epic Application Analyst, you will serve as the primary point of contact around day-to-day management of Epic Resolute (employees may specialize across applications / solutions). This role is to be responsible for the coordination and maintenance of the application and provide end-users with support, resolving issues as they arise as well as proactively managing / coordinating with other Epic Application Analysts, business owners, and Epic representatives across teams to create dynamic user focused solution.

You will focus on

  • Serve as primary point of contact between IT team and end users, addressing their day-to-day issues and identifying issues to be coordinated across teams when needed.
  • Develop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows, how applications are currently meeting those needs, and identifying potential problem areas.
  • Work collaboratively across Epic teams to generate unique and innovative solutions to address user issues.
  • Analyze technical issues associated with Epic software. Identifying and implementing requested changes to the system.

The Skills, Experience & Education You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent coursework in Computer Science or related field and/or applicable military experience.
  • Master's degree or other advanced degree in a related field Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years professional experience working with Epic applications in a healthcare setting, preferably in an IPA or managed care environment.
  • Technically skilled across Epic Resolute Claims and Professional Billing applications.
  • Ability and willingness to manage and prioritize multiple assignments or tasks with potentially conflicting deadlines, desire to seek out additional assignments or tasks, and to help others.
  • Ability and desire to quickly learn and develop new skillsets in a quick paced environment.
  • Strong team building and communication skills, both written and oral with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Epic Resolute Professional Billing Certified; Epic Resolute Claims Certified; or Epic Tapestry and additional Resolute Certifications desired.

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. The anticipated pay range for this role is listed in our salary posting for transparency but may vary based on factors including the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and geographic location. This base pay range is specific to California and can vary based on Bay Area, Metro LA, and Greater California regions which may not be applicable to other locations.

Physical Requirements: Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork – Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of workday.
